Learn to Play > Lesson 2: The back to front method
In 1975, while living in Vrindavan, I took a course in India called the
"American Peace Corps Hindi Course."
The course teaches Hindi sentences by listening to recordings on an LP
record. Sentences are spoken, and then you are asked to repeat the sentences,
beginning with the last word. For example:
Suppose this were a sentence in Hindi.
The instructor would ask you then to repeat "Hindi"
Then "in Hindi"
Then "sentence in Hindi"
and so on, until you could say the entire sentence "Suppose this were a
sentence in Hindi."
I teach using this same "Back to front" method using Mrdanga Mantras. You
will see how that goes as you take the lessons.
