Tok - a new combination stroke
Just when you thought you'd learned all the mrdanga stroke,
along comes another one.
And let's face it. You've been cruising along pretty well so
far, but now it's time to teach you one more mrdanga
stroke. It's called tok, and we pronounce it as with
the English word "tock."
 What's
a tok? Well, it's simple enough.
"ta" + "ki" = "tok"
It's kind of like a tuk, but made with a ta
instead of a ti.
So tuk and tok are the same except tuk is
a ki with a ti whereas tok is a ki
with a ta.
So who cares about that? Well, I had to tell you so you could
learn the next mrdanga mantra.
